The 2025 DoorDash Delivery Trends Report highlighted that non-alcohol options and traditional alcohol delivery are simultaneously experiencing significant growth. The survey found that 80% of alcohol delivery customers have ordered low- or non-alcoholic options in the past six months, more than double last year's rate.
Traditional alcohol delivery is surging too, with 42% of respondents ordering alcohol more frequently than in 2024. Top ordering occasions include "Regular Night at Home" (40%), "Watching Sports" (39%), and "Holidays" (38%).
The report contradicts the common sentiment that “people aren’t drinking anymore” and aligns with the 2025 BMO Wine Market Report, which shows consumers drinking "less but better" with 60% of wineries expecting direct-to-consumer sales increases this year.
