Brown-Forman achieved 1% organic revenue growth to $4 billion for fiscal 2025, despite fourth-quarter declines and significant tequila portfolio struggles. The spirits giant's tequila brands suffered a 12% decrease, with Herradura down 10% and El Jimador falling 11% amid challenging Mexican macroeconomic conditions and competitive U.S. markets.
Whiskey sales provided stability with 1% growth, led by premium bourbons Woodford Reserve and Old Forester (both up 8%). However, the company's Scotch and Irish whiskey portfolio dropped 22%.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2026, Brown-Forman expects continued headwinds with low-single-digit declines in both sales and operating income.
