Pernod Ricard will sell Mumm Napa winery and facilities to family-owned Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits, with the transaction expected to close spring 2026. Trinchero gains U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Caribbean distribution rights for all Mumm Napa lines, including the Terroir series.
"Mumm Napa is a strategic addition, bringing scale, distribution strength, and brand equity," commented Trinchero CEO Bob Torkelson. The California sparkling brand joins Ménage à Trois and Sutter Home in Trinchero's 77-year-old portfolio.
The sale excludes international Mumm properties like G.H. Mumm Champagne and continues Pernod's portfolio streamlining following 2024's Australian Wine Holdco sale. Pernod emphasizes alignment with its premiumization strategy, concentrating resources on international spirits and Champagne.
