Spirit of Gallo’s High Noon surpassed $1 billion in sales in 2022, becoming the leading spirits brand by volume in the U.S., according to Impact Databank. The RTD brand eclipsed leading vodka brand Tito's to reach 16.4 million 9-liter cases with 85% growth year-over-year.
Some retailers like New York-based Exit 9 are seeing High Noon account for as much as 34% of their RTD sales. “When High Noon made with vodka came out, we said here is our chance to fight the grocery stores and get some of that hard seltzer business,” shared Exit 9’s owner Mark O’Callaghan.
With a 40% share of the spirits-based hard seltzer category, High Noon is helping propel the RTD category to new heights. The RTD heavyweight aims to maintain its current momentum in 2023. Earlier this month the brand announced it was crossing into the trending agave spirit category with the launch of High Noon Tequila Seltzer. [Market Watch]
